Flush DNS Cache in Mac OS X

If you are having problems with DNS records being outdated locally, you can flush your DNS cache for domain changes to take effect.


The steps to flush DNS cache are as follows:
  1. Open terminal
  2. Type in:
sudo dscacheutil -flushcache; sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder; say cache flushed
